Scroll and Peg Box
I have been working on the scroll for quite a while trying to make it as good as can be, but it could still be better.

The Scroll and Fingerboard Outline
I got help from Mr. Reed drawing on the outline of the scroll. I made a series of cuts to start forming the towers, unfortunately I did not get pictures of this.

Linings leveld, Blocks Shaped, and more Neck Work
I don't have any pictures for today, but the linings have been leveled (see picture in previous post), the blocks have been shaped, and I spent most of the day on a spindle sander getting the outline of the scroll finished up.

Back Glued On and Started on Neck Block
I glued the back onto the rib structure today.
I also cut out the shape of the neck using the band saw.

Bass Bar Finished and Locating Pins
The bass bar is now finished being shaped.
I also made locating pins to line the plates exactly where they need to be.

F-holes Finished
I have been working outside of class to try to get ahead, and it is starting to pay off. As a result, my f-holes are done ahead of schedule!

F-holes Started
I cut the f-holes out before the graduations were completed so that the top still had some strength while using the coping saw. I unfortunately did not get a picture of this process.

Holes Drilled for first Graduations
I used a drill press to accurately drill to 4.5 mm in the top and 6 mm in the back. This will indicate where the rough graduations will stop. After this, I will do a second drilling for the final graduations.

Finished with the Arches
It took longer that expected, but the arching is now finished.
I used a contour gauge to trace the arches to see their shape more accurately.
